DESERTED

As humankind wrestles with global warming in both positive ways that move our existence toward sustainability, there is the chance that we move closer and closer toward causing our own demise. If we indeed cause our own extinction, how will the natural world reclaim the footprint that humankind placed upon the Earth? How will the weather erode our hubris? Here in the Western United States, where the arid sagebrush desert reigns supreme, human endeavors toward existence, settlement, and perseverance have been attempted time and time again with many failing. These failed attempts give first hand photographic evidence as to how the natural world will reclaim itself from the human era.
