Idaho Engagement Photos

Over the years, I’ve driven a certain stretch of highway over and over again going from point A to point B, always admiring the backdrops, yet rarely stopping to capture an image. Yesterday, I was fortunate that Leah and Jimmy trusted me to meet them in the middle of rural Idaho for their engagement session; the set up was a bit funny in that I sent them an email with a link to a Google Map showing a pin-drop in the middle of the state where I wanted to meet! We showed up within a few minutes of each other, cracked some beers, and chatted while the sun remained high in the sky. The next few hours were spent getting to know one another and enjoying the most random places along a very rural highway.

Leah and Jimmy were about as happy and in love as anyone can be, which made my job pretty damn easy! Their wedding is going to be a treat to photograph as well, they are getting married on the tip of Baja at the Cabo Azul Resort in San Jose del Cabo. Here are some images from their engagement session…you’ll have to wait till April of 2012 for their wedding images!
