The world works in mysterious ways. Shorty after Maritt and I moved back to the Wood River Valley from Truckee, we met Stephanie McCord through a “Mom’s Group.” She had just moved West from Tennessee and though our attendance at the mom’s group was short lived (too much drama), our friendship continued and grew. To be honest, there really was no way our relationship with the McCord’s could be anything other than family–one of the mysteries that made it obvious this would be the case is that both sets of children in each family were born within 12 hours of each other; the first set on the same day, but coasts apart; the second set, while on separate days, was in the same hospital and only a wall was between Maritt and Steph as they labored! We had the McCords down for dinner this past Sunday and I took them out for a quick family portrait session, here are some images…
